"Be the listener of tomorrow"

Hello! I’m Misha. I’m a BABCP accredited Psychotherapist, but you might also call me an advocate for growth, vulnerability and a holder of space for varied experiences. I believe that we require a deeply reflective and compassionate lens to see ourselves through – to know ourselves and be known by others.

With over 7 years of experience in the mental health sector, I support people who are willing to reflect on their experiences in a way that leads to various forms of freedom. Individuals that I work with often feel suffocated by their challenges and sometimes believe there isn't a way to overcome them.

I believe the answers we seek are hidden inside of us. I see myself a conduit that guides the exploration and discovery of those answers.

Why did you become a therapist?

Good question!  I have always considered myself to be a person who cares deeply for humanity. This is a result of my world view and my  desire to align myself with those who may be suffering. I continue to allow life experiences and education to shape my interaction with myself and others, in a way that produces room for connectedness, transparency and hope.

What are your therapy sessions like?

During our time together, we will explore ways to gain more clarity about the most important things in your life using effective psychotherapy techniques. This might include developing a more enriched understanding or considering how to support change. Sometimes, we reach into the hidden places of your inner life to uncover unknown strength.

Our interactions will be marked by empathy and warmth. I will ask questions and occasionally be silent. You might laugh, cry or even feel uncomfortable; all experiences are useful to us. I will have respect for where you are in the present, but gently encourage you to explore the unfamiliar, with consideration of your goals.
